The Tempest

Shakespeare’s magical farewell to the stage is filled with spirits and goddesses, young lovers, old grudges, usurping villains, and ultimate grace. The aging magician Prospero discovers forgiveness for those who stole his dukedom only after his young daughter Miranda shows him the path to redemption in this most popular and comedic of the Canon’s romance stories. The Tempest fea-tures Johnny Lee Davenport as Prospero.


This production is appropriate for all ages but geared towards middle and high school students. The run time is 2 hours and 15 minutes, including a post-show Q&A with the actors. A study guide will be made available on our website www.shakespearewallawalla.org


When: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 1, Wednesday, May 2, and Thursday, May 3


Where: Power House Theatre, 6th and Rose, Walla Walla, WA


How Much: $10 per student, chaperones complimentary; you provide the transportation. Please provide approximately one chaperone per 10 students.
